<br />AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING THE COMPENSATION, BENEFITS
<br />AND WORKING CONDITIONS FOR THE YEARS 2005, 2006 and 2007
<br />FOR SALARIED EMPLOYEES EMPLOYED BY THE NORTH
<br />OLMSTED MUNICIPAL BUS LINE, WHO ARE NOT MEMBERS OF
<br />THE A.F.S.C.M.E., LOCAL 3517, COLLECTIVE BARGAINING UNIT,
<br />WHICH SAID COMPENSATION IS REIMBURSED BY THE GREATER
<br />CLEVELAND REGIONAL TRANSIT AUTHORITY IN THE
<br />OPERATING AGREEMENT, AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY, AS
<br />AMENDED.
<br />WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 2003-141, established the rates of compensation ranges,
<br />benefits and working conditions for the non-bargaining unit salaried employees for the North
<br />Olmsted Municipal Bus Line (NOMBL) for the years 2004 and 2005; and
<br />WHEREAS, it is the desire of this Council, pursuant to the Mayor's recommendation, to
<br />establish new salary ranges and benefits for the NOMBL salaried employees for the years 2005,
<br />2006 and 2007; and
<br />WHEREAS, said new salary ranges reflect a zero percent (0%) increase in the year
<br />2004, a four and one-half percent (4.5%) increase in the year 2005 over the ranges previously
<br />established for the year 2004, a four and one-half percent (4.5%) increase in the year 2006 and a
<br />two and one-half percent (2.5%) increase in the year 2007;
<br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
<br />NORTH OLMSTED, COUNTY OF CUYAHOGA AND STATE OF OHIO:
<br />SECTION 1: Salary Schedules
<br />That the compensation to be paid to salaried employees shall be in the ranges as follows:

<br />SECTION 2a: Work Week
<br />The normal work week for salaried employees of the NOMBL shall be forty (40) hours.
<br />Said work week begins Sunday morning at 12:01 a.m. through midnight Saturday.
<br />SECTION 2b: Night Rate Differential
<br />A salaried employee of the NOMBL shall be paid an additional $.60 per-hour for hours
<br />worked on a Night Shift. The night shift hours is defined as beginning approximately 4:00 p.m.
<br />and ending approximately 6:00 a.m. Salaried employees on a day shift that ends up to
