<br />Ordinance No. 2004-166 <br />Page 2 <br />approximately 8:00 p.m. are not considered on a night shift. <br />SECTION 3: Overtime <br />That the salaried employees may be paid overtime upon the recommendation af the <br />Service Director. <br />SECTION 4: Longevity Benefits <br />That there is an established longevity benefit for all full-time salaried employees which <br />shall be as follows: <br />That all full-time personnel listed within this Ordinance, who were hired by the City prior <br />to January 1, 2005, having completed five (5) years of full-time service as an employee of the <br />City shall be paid an additional four percent (4%) of their base annual salary thereafter as <br />longevity increments until completion of their tenth (lOth) year of full-time service; after <br />completion of their tenth (10`h) year of full-time service, such personnel shall receive five percent <br />(5%) of their base annual salary thereafter as longevity increments until completion of' their <br />fifteenth (151h) year of full-time service; after completion of their fifteenth (15th) year of full-time <br />service, such personnel shall receive six percent (6%) of their base annual salary thereafter as <br />longevity increments until completion of their twentieth (20th) year of full-time service; and after <br />completion of their twentieth (20th) year of full-time service, such personnel shall receive seven <br />percent (7%) of their base annual salary thereafter as longevity increments for so long as they <br />continue to be full-time employees of the City. <br />All full-time personnel listed within this Ordinance, who are hired by the City on or after <br />January 1, 2005, having completed five (5) years of full-time service as an employee of the City <br />shall be paid an additional six hundred dollars ($600.00) as annual longevity increments <br />thereafter until completion of their tenth (lOth) year of full-time service; after completion of their <br />tenth (lOt") year of full-time service, such personnel shall receive one thousand dollars <br />($1000.00) as annual longevity increments thereafter until completion of their fifteenth (15t") <br />year of full-time service; after completion of their fifteenth (15th) year of full-time service, such <br />personnel shall receive one thousand three hundred dollars ($1300.00) as annual longevity <br />increments thereafter until completion of their twentieth (20'h) year of full-time service; after <br />completion of their twentieth (20th) year of full-time service, such personnel shall receive one <br />thousand seven hundred dollars ($1700.00) as annual longevity increments thereafter for so long <br />as they continue to be full-time employees of the City. <br />SECTION 5: Uniform Allowance <br />A. Zone Supervisor - Annual allowance $550.00 as of January, 2004. <br />B. Maintenance Manager and Assistant Maintenance Manager - Maximum change of <br />five (5) sets of laundered work clothing each week and $150.00 as of January, 2004, <br />for purchasing safety work shoes <br />SECTION 6: Paid Holidays <br />1. New Years Day 7. Employment Anniversary Date <br />2. Memorial Day (Observed) 8. Employee's Birthday <br />3. Independence Day 9. Presidents Day Holiday <br />4. Labor Day 10. Martin Luther King, Jr. Holiday <br />5. Thanksgiving Day 11. Floating Holiday <br />6. Christmas Day 12. Floating Holiday <br />(Holidays 7,8,9,10,11 and 12 may be paid for or taken) <br />2
