<br />4rdinance Na 2004-156 <br />SECTIOI,? „2: That Section 947.01 af Chapter 947 of the Streets, Utilities and <br />Public Services Code, which presently reads as follows: <br />"947.01 RULES AND REGULATI()NS. <br />(a) SMd , egulated. No vehicle on corae shall be driven or ridden in <br />the City park or recreatian site at a speed greater than fifreen milas per hour. <br />(4rd. 92-70. Passed 9-1-92.) <br />(b) Selling Mffchandise, No person, partnership, limited liability or <br />corporativn operating for pmft exclusive and apart fram a nonprafit group or <br />vrganization shall sell or affer for sate any goods, wares, merchandise or services <br />in the City parks. This sha11 exclude any agreement the City enters intu for the <br />purpose of selling food and nan-alcaholic beverages in City parks and shall <br />permit, through express written permissi4n ofthe City, thraugh the Safety <br />Director, nonprofit groups or organizations to enter into concession agreements <br />for the purpose of selling food and non-alcahalic beverages in City parks for <br />limited special evezrts. <br />(Urd. 95-150. Passed 1-16-96) <br />(c) Hours 012en to,Pubiic. Each park and recreation site shall have <br />signs posted as to hours open and noting the hours the park or site will be closed. <br />(d) Parkirm Areas Farking in designaxed areas only. No parking shall <br />be permitted between evergreen trees on West Park and East Park at Nvrth <br />Olmsted Fark. <br />(e) Certain VehiFles Fronibited. No hea.vily loaded vehicles or <br />vehicles used for suck? purposes, except upnn special written permissian. <br />(o Anima.ls. No dogs or other animals shall be permitted to run at <br />large in a park or recreation area. See Genera.l Offenses Code SOS.OI(d). <br />(g) Li eri. Na person shall place, deposit at disgose of any paper, <br />trash, garbage, waste, refuae, junk or any other substance upon public property <br />used for recreatian or park purposes. <br />(h) Bill Fosting. No person without proper authority shall post any bill <br />vr sign, handbill or notice, or advertisement, an any public property used for pas-k <br />or recreation purpases. <br />(i) mb in . No person, unless exempt by the statutes of the State, <br />as well as Chapter 517 of the General Offenses Code, sliall be permitted to <br />conduct a game of chance or scheme of chance, or to gamble in the public parks <br />or recreation areas of the City. <br />(j) Disorderlv Canduct and Peace Di?ance. Na person shali <br />commit acts which are prohibited in Chapter 509 of the General Offcroses Code. <br />(k) Fireaims or Explosives. Na person shall be permitted to use <br />firearrns or exglosives cantrary to the provisians of Chapter 549 af the Gsneral <br />Offenses Cade. <br />
