Ordinance No. 2004-156 (1) Picnics. Picnics shall be permitted in designated areas. Large picnics, fifty or more, should first obtain a permit prior to halding function. (m) Camina. No person sha11 use a slingshot, bow and arraw, or air gun within the public parks or recreation a.reas af the City, the use of which is prohibited by Section 549.10 af the General Offenses Code. (o) GQIf Na person shall cause a golf ball to be propelled by hitting the same with ago1f club within the public parks or recreation areas af the City. (p) CMPfires and Cooking. No person shall keep or maintain or light a aampfire or cooking fire in an area other than that designated and established within the park area. No person shall pexmit any fire to be left unattended and must completely extinguish the fire before leaving the area. (q) Travelling Public Shows and Carnivals. To the contrary notwithstanding the adoption of Chapter 701 of the Busineas Regulation Code regulating travelling public shows and camivals, no such activity regulated thereby shall be permitted in any public park within the City, with the exception that the annual carnival in Narth Olmsted Park which has heretafore been known as "Homecoming" and was heretofore sponsared by the Cornmunzty Council will be permitted as per Chapter 701 of the Business Re,gulation Code, but shall not exceed four days in length of nperation. No vehicle or horse shall be driven or ridden in the City park or reereation site at a speed greater than fifteen miles per hour. (Urd. 92-70. Passed 9-1-92.) (b) 5elling Merchandise. No person, partnership,limited liability or corporation operating far pmfit exclusive and apart fram a nonprofit group or organization sha.ll sell or affer for sale any goods, wares, merchandise or services in the City parks. This shall exclude any agreement the City enters into for the purpose of selling food and non-alcohalic beverages in City parks and shall pernut, through express written permission of the City, through the Safety Director, nonprofrt groups or organizations to enter imo +concessivn agreements for the purpose of selling food and nan-alcoholic bcverages in City parks for limited special events.
