<br />Resolution No. 2004-136 <br />SECTION 2: That the effective date of any and all wage and other economic benefits <br />provided for in the said Agreement, unless otherwise expressly specified therein, shall be July <br />1, 2004, and further that the effective date for the new work hours provided for in paragraphs <br />(a), (c) and (d) of Article 10 of the said Agreement for full-time employees in the Service <br />Department and Wastewater Treatment Plant, except for rotating shift employees, shall be <br />retroactive to August 24, 2004, as provided in the memorandum of understanding attached to <br />said Agreement. <br />SECTION 3: That this Resolution is hereby declared to be an emergency measure <br />immediately necessary for the preservation of the public peace, health, safety and welfare, of <br />this City and for the further reason that this Resolution is required to be immediately effective <br />in order to guarantee continuity of the services of employees in the Service Department that <br />are vital to the community; and further provided it receives the affirmative vote of two-thirds <br />of a11 members of Council, it shall take effect and be in force immediately upon its passage and <br />approval by the Mayor. <br />PASSED: Zovz' t.) .D co,/ <br />, <br />ATTEST.• <br /> <br />ARA L.
