negotiations held subsequent to this agreement and for the same time period covered under this <br />agreement, negotiates to conclusion a lower percentage of employee contribution to Health Insurance <br />Plan, the lower percentage shall apply to the unit covered under this agreement. Said lower percentage <br />shall commence under this agreement at the time that it is agreed upon by another unit, and shall continue <br />for the remaining years covered under this agreement. <br />Section 8. The City will offer the Option 1 Plan in effec# on July 1, 2001, for the duration of the contract. <br />Employees' participation in the Option 1 Plan is strictly voluntary to all eligible employees. The City shall <br />offer enrollment in the Option 1 Plan for thirty (30) days, each December of the contract. Employees who <br />opt for this opt-ion shall be required to contribute an amount equal to finro (2) percent of the plan premium <br />or expected cost. <br />Section 9. The City agrees to provide, prior to October 1 each year of the contract, the fiollowing <br />information; enrollment data, the number of employees in each plan, FamilylSingle, bargaining or non- <br />bargaining, basic or Option 1 Plan. Actual rates for the previous year and projected premium rates for the <br />upcoming year. Experience statements, ratings. Utilization data for the previous twelve (12) months, for <br />each plan. Any consultant reports or audits whefiher internal or external of the health care plan and any <br />other data used to establish the premium rate for any of the health plans offered. <br />Section 10, The City will provide a pretax program for the Employees' contribution to health insurance <br />effective 1/1/99. <br />Section 11. In 2004 at the conclusion of the bargaining units' current collective bargaining cycle, or <br />sooner if all City bargaining units agree, an employee committee shall be formed and shall meet for <br />the purpose of creating a new or revised health care plan or plans for City employees. The <br />committee shall consist of 14 employees who must be participants in one of the City's current health <br />care plans and who have been selected from the following employee groups: 1 fram Correcfiions, 1 <br />from Dispatch, 2 from Clerical/Technical, 2 from Service, 2 from Fire, 2 from Po(ice, 2 from NOMBL, <br />and 2 from non-bargaining unit employees. The employer shall provide two advisors or facilitators to assist the employee committee regarding health care issues. The committee shall be required to review the City's current health care plans, including its <br />plans for medical, dental and vision benefits, and adopt new or revised plan or plans that are <br />28 <br />,.?. .. .... <br />, . .., . ..a.,.
