provided herein by an arbitrator and not rejected by Councir shall become part of the wage schedule to <br />this Agreement. In the event the Council rejects the arbitrator's recornmendation, as herein before <br />provided, fhe initial procedure of this Article shall be re-instituted until a recommendation is accepted or an <br />agreement is reached. The City shall not arbitrarily or capriciously reclassify employees or change job <br />description during the life of this Agreement. <br />ARTICLE 25 - HOSPITALIZATtON <br />Section 1. The City shall provide either individual or family medical insurance coverage at the employees <br />option for each fulf-time employee. The employer shall have the option of seeking alliterate health <br />insurance providers or plans and will attempt to offer at least twa (2) different plans. Basic hospitalization <br />wi!l be consistent with and similar to those plans offered on Juiy 1, 1994. Basic hospita(ization will be that <br />offered to all other employees of the City of North Olmsted. The empfoyer has the right to negotiate co- <br />payment and prescription drug rates with providers to lower the cost to tne employer as well as the <br />employee contribution. <br />Section 2. Effective July 1, 2001, through the duration of this agreement, full-time employee(s) <br />participating within either an individual or family plan shall contribute an amount equal to thirteen (13%) <br />percent of the plan premium or expected cost of such medical plan and the empioyer shall contribute <br />eighty seven (87%) percent of such cost. The employee contribution shall be withheld via payroll <br />deduction not fater than the first pay period each month. <br />Section 3. Expected cost or premium is defined as the cost of all medical, hospital, prescription drug and <br />related fees, including but not limited to, administration fees. <br />Section 4. The employer reserves the right to esfiablish a(I plans, enrollment periods and regulations. <br />Section S. The employer shaf( make an earnest effort to establish a committee consisting of one (1) <br />representative from each af the City bargaining units, if they choose to be represented and a minimum of <br />one (1) representative of the employer. The bargaining units' role as a participant in the <br />aforementioned committee shall be advisory. <br />Section S. All changes affecting the plan's coverage's co-payment, deductibles, providers enrollment <br />periods and regulations will be shared with the bargaining unit prior to making such changes. <br />Section 7.
