ARTICLE 34 - AFSCME CARE PLA?N <br />Section 1. The City shall continue to participate in the American Federation of State, County and <br />Municipal employees. Care Plan for ail full-time employees in the bargaining unit represented by the <br />Union. The City's obligation shall be limited ta making contributions at the rate af forty dollars and seventy- <br />five cents ($40.75) per month per employee for AFSCME Care Plan coverage for each regular full-time <br />employee. <br />ARTICLE 35 -WAGES. <br />Section 1. Effective July 1,2004 fhrough June 30, 2005, all employees in the bargaining unit shall receive <br />a wage increase of zero percent (0%) and be paid in accordance with the wage rates set forth in Appendix <br />"A". (The City shall compute overtime separately from straight time and shall show the overtime and <br />straight time separately on the employee's pay stub. Additionally, the City shall compute and show on the <br />employee's pay stub his accrued sick leave and vacation time.) <br />Section 2. Effecfiive July 1, 2005 through June 30, 2006 a(I employees in the bargaining unit shall receive <br />a wage increase of four and one-half percent (4.5%) and be paid +n accordance with the wage rates set <br />forth in Appendix "A-i.° <br />Section 3. Effective JuPy 1, 2006 through the duration of this Agreement, all employees in the bargaining <br />uni# sha!l receive a wage increase of four and one-half percent (4.5%) and be paid in accordance with the <br />wage rates set forth in Appendix "A-2". <br />Section 4. Paychecks will be availab(e an Friday noon for employees who are not scheduled to work <br />Friday or who have completed their work at that time; and at the end of the day shift for other employees. <br />The paychecks for employees of the Wastewater Treatment Plant ending their scheduled week at 7:00 <br />A.M. on Friday will be available at 7:00 AM. In the event of a shortage in an employee paycheck fhat <br />exceeds $25.00, such shortage shall be paid within 48 working hours after notice of such shortage is <br />made to supervisor. <br />ARTICLE 36 - PREMIUM PAY <br />Section 1.
