EXHIBIT B-13 CONTINUED SYSTEMS MAlNTENANCE TECHNICIAN <br />DESIRABLE KNOWLEDGE. ABILtT1ES AND SKILLS: <br />• Considerable knowledge of tools, materials, methods and modern techniques commonly used in public <br />works, sewer construction, and maintenance activities. <br />? Considerable knowledge hazards and safety precautions necessary in sewer and maintenance work. <br />• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with other employees and the general <br />public. <br />• Ability to participate in the work of inechanical maintenance and performing varied tasks and to obtain <br />effective results. <br />• Physical strength and agility sufficient to do strenuous manual labor for extended periods under varying <br />weather conditions. <br />DESIRABLE EXPERIENCE AND TRAINING: <br />Average experience in semi-skilled technical operations and repair of a variety of machinery and <br />equipment related to the area of assignment; graduation from a standard high school or vocational school, <br />supplemented by completion of appropriate and approved course work in sewer inspection and <br />maintenance. <br />Must obtain a Class I or Coflections C{ass I License within one year after appointment. to position. <br />69
