<br />EXHIBIT B-14 <br />JOB CLASSIFICATION LIFT STATION <br />ATTENDANT <br />RESPONSIBLE TO <br />SANITARY SEWER SUPERVlSOR <br />NATURE OF WORK: <br />This is a responsible semi-skilled mechanicai and manual labor work which is physically demanding <br />in nature. <br />Work involves maintenance of overtlows, meter chambers, pumping stations, and ejector stations as <br />directed by the Systems Foreman, Assistant Superintendent-Systems, or Superintendent. <br />EXAMPLES OF WORK: <br />• Responsible for the proper operation and maintenance of wastewater pumping stations and ejector <br />stafions. <br />• As required, painting of pumping and ejector stations, inside and out; painting of ineter boxes and meter <br />poles; and any other painting to related structures as assigned. <br />• Operates a variety of standard construction and maintenance equipment; such as, compressors, air <br />blowers, portable generators, drills, and other machines as required and as a necessary adjunct to <br />normal duties. <br />• As required, keeps records of all work performed; reports need for material and equipment where and <br />when needed. <br />• As required, cleaning; such as, washing walls and windows in pumping stations or where assigned. <br />• Assists Systems Foreman in repairs to meter chambars, overFlows, pumping stations, and ejector <br />stations as required. <br />• Work can be characterized by assignment to rotating shifts where needed or as ordered by the <br />Superintendent, <br />• Subject to 24-hour call during emergency situations. <br />0 Performs related work as required. <br />70 <br />
