i . tl • • 1? <br />MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING <br />The parties acknowledge and agree that, as a result of miscommunications befinreen <br />the Employer and the Union in the month of July, delays occurred in the approval process for <br />the new collective bargaining agreement for the AFSCME Service Unit employees. <br />The pariies agree that in order to promote harmonious and stable labor=management <br />relations, the following actions shall be taken by the Employer: <br />The new work hours provided for in paragraphs (a), (c) and (d) of Article 10 <br />of the Collective Bargaining Agreement for full-time employees in the Service <br />Department and Wastewater Treatment Plant; except for rotating shift employees, <br />shall be commenced effective August 24, 2004. <br />2. Each full-time employee shall receive a one-time payment equal to four <br />hours of regular pay, to be paid on the next regular payday after approval of the <br />new collective bargaining agreement by the City Council. <br />IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the parties hereto have executed this Memorandum of <br />Understanding on this day of <br />FOR THE UNION: <br />HERNANDO HARGE <br />Staff Representative <br />AFSCME, Ohio Council 8 <br />Loca12681 <br />2004. <br />FOR THE EMPLOYER: <br />NORMAN T.
