'. Resolution No. 2004-131 <br />a draft copy of which collective bargaining agreement is attached to this legislation as "Exhibit <br />A," is approved and the Mayor is authorized to execute the said agreement, subject to any final <br />language revisions, not inconsistent with the parties' temporary agreements and the Fact- <br />Finder's report and recommendations, as may be approved by the Director of Law. <br />SECTION 2: That the effective date of any and a11 wage and other economic benefits <br />provided for in the said Agreement, unless otherwise expressly specified therein, shall be <br />January 1, 2004. <br />SECTION 3: That this Resolution is hereby declared to be an emergency measure <br />immediately necessary for the preservation of the public peace, health, safety and welfare, of <br />this City and for the further reason that this Resolution is required to be immediately effective <br />because the existing agreement has expired and further in order to guarantee continuity of vital <br />safety services provided by employees in the Fire Department; and further provided it receives <br />the affirmative vote of two-thirds of all members of Council, it shall take effect and be in force <br />immediately_upon its passage and approval by the Mayor. <br />PASSED: First Reading: 3 0 V <br />?
