3. Vacation selection shall not bump previously approved vacations; and third <br />round vacation picks shall not bump approved holidays. <br />4. Each Employee shall have seventy-two (72) hours to compiete his selection. <br />Failure to complete his selection within the time frame provided shall cause the <br />Employee to lose his selection and any bumping rights for that portion of the <br />selection procedure. <br />5. Employees may choose up to two (2) weeks vacation time in the first and second <br />round of vacation selection. <br />6. Vacation setections shall be made in whole weeks, which may inciude a Ke31ey <br />Day except as in 13.8C(2). <br />7. An Employee may elect to pass on his selection in any round. In doing so, he <br />forfeits selection order and bumping rights for that round. <br />B. First and second round selection: <br />1. First round selection shall begin on November 1 of each year. <br />2. Second round selection shall begin immediately upon campietion of the first <br />round. <br />C. Third round selections: <br />l. T'hird round selections shall begin imrnediately following the completion of the <br />second round of selections as in 13.8A (1) through (4). <br />2. During the th'vd round of selections individual days may be selected in any <br />order and number up to the limit on the books for the current year. <br />3. Employees may select usage of accurnulated vacatinn after all his current <br />vacation time has been selected or sold with the approval of the fire Chief or his <br />designee. <br />25
