Should an Employee be assigned to Light Duty for any period of time, the Employee must submit <br />satisfactory medical certification from his physician stating that the Employee can return to his <br />regularly assigned job task prior to reinstatemeat to regular duty. <br />25.2 Any Employee while assigned to Light Duty shall cantinue to receive all compensation and fringe <br />benefits, including accumulation of seniority attached to his normally assigned position. <br />ARTICLE XXVI <br />EXPENSE REIMBURSEMENT <br />26.1 Cadets shall receive $6.00 per day for expenses while in attendance at a state certified fire fighters <br />training school as mandated by law. <br />26.2 Should a Cadet be required to travel round trip from N.O.F.D. #1 to school, the Employer shall <br />reimburse at a rate per mile estabtished from time to time, unless the Cadet travels in an <br />Employer-owned vehicle. <br />263 Should a Cadet be required to be away from his residence overnight for such schooling, the <br />Emplayer shall pay akl costs for meals, housing and transportation. <br />ARTICLE XXVII <br />COURT LEAVE <br />27.1 The Employer shall grant leave with the Basic Hourly Rate of Pay plus Longevity or Overtime <br />Pay (as applicable) to an Employee for the period of time he is required to appear before a court, <br />judge, justice, magistrate ar coroner as a plaintit& defendant or witness in matters directly relating <br />to his job as an Employee of the Employer.
