B. Offer to bargain collectively with the other party for the purpose of negotiating a successor <br />agreement. <br />C. Notify the State Employment Relatioas Board of the offer by serving upon the board a copy <br />of the written notice to the other parry and a copy of the exasring collective bargaining <br />agreement. <br />D. Upon receipt of the notice, the parties shall enter into collective bargaining. <br />E. In the event the parties are unable to reach an agreement, the impasse procedure as set forth <br />in Section 4117.140.RC. shall prevail. <br />31.4 The parties shall continue in full force and effect all the terms and conditions of the existing <br />collective bargaining agreement for a period of sixty days after the party gives notice or until the <br />expiration date of tt?e col(ective bargaining agreement, whichever is later. <br />ARTICLE XXXII <br />BEREAVEMENT LEAVE <br />32.1 In the event of death of Immediate Family other than the Employee's sgouse or children, the <br />Employee shall receive two (2) consecutive twenty-four (24) hour shifts off. <br />32.2 In the event of death af an Employee's spouse, children or stepchildren, the Employer shail <br />provide a total of ninety-six (96) hours of compassionate leave. <br />32.3 For the purpose of this Article, Immediate Family is defined to mean: <br />Parents of the Employee; <br />Parents of the Emptoyee's spouse; <br />Brothers and Sisters of the Employee; <br />Step Parents of the EmpIoyee; <br />Spouse and Children of the Employee; <br />Relatives living with the Employee if the Employee is acting as aparent and/or legal guardian; and <br />Grandchildren of the Employee; <br />44
