<br />Ordinance No. 2004-22 <br />WHEREAS, it is the desire of this Council to authorize and direct the crediting of all <br />revenues received from emergency medical services and ambulance transportation billings in the <br />year 2004, which would otherwise be credited to the "Emergency Medical Services Fund," to the <br />General Fund; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />NORTH OLMSTED, COUNTY OF CUYAHOGA AND STATE OF OHIO: <br />SECTION 1: That this Council hereby authorizes and directs that all revenues received <br />in the year 2004 from emergency medical services and ambulance transportation billings to <br />residents, which would otherwise be credited to the "Emergency Medical Services Fund," <br />created pwsuant to Ordinance No. 2002-103, be credited instead to the General Fund. <br />SECTION 2: That the Director of Finance is hereby authorized and directed to credit all <br />revenues received in the year 2004 from emergency medical services and ambulance <br />transportation billings, which would otherwise be credited to the "Emergency Medical Services <br />Fund," to the General Fund. <br />SECTION 3: That this Ordinance is hereby declared ta be an emergency measure <br />immediately necessary for the preservation of the public peace, health, safety and welfare, of this <br />City and for the further reason that this Resolution is required to be immediately effective so that <br />the City may timely adopt a lawful permanent appropriations ordinance for the year 2004; and <br />further provided it receives the affirmative vote of two-thirds of all members of Council, it shall <br />take effect an'd be in force immediately upon its passage and approval by the Mayor. <br />PASSED: -3co First Reading: <br />Second Reading: .3 a ?
