City of North Olmsted, NY / xxx xxxx 12 <br />• General Liability: This insurance shall be written on a commercial general <br />liability fonn which shall protect the VENDOR and the CITY for those sums the <br />VENDOR or the CITY, its officers and employee as additional insured or the <br />VENDOR and the CITY become legally obligated to pay as damages because of bodily <br />injury, death, personal injury or property damage. The limits applicable to the <br />commercial general liability policy shall not be less than the following: <br />Bodily Injury/Property <br />Damage EachOccurrence $1,000,000 <br />Aggregate $2,000,000 <br />Personal Injury Per Person/Aggregate $1,000,000 <br />The insurance may also be written on the comprehensive general liability. <br />Comprehensive general liability limits shall not be less than the following: <br />Bodily [njuty Occurrence $1,000,000 <br />Properry Damage Occurrence $1,000,000 <br />Personal Iniury A gregate $1 000,000 <br />• Umbrella: This insurance shall be written to protect the VENDOR and the <br />CITY against all claims in excess of the underlying general liability, automobile and <br />workers' compensation coverage. The umbrella limits shall not be less than the <br />following: <br />Limit of Liabilit A Qre ate $1,000,000 <br />The VENDOR and all subcontractors shall furnish the CITY, prior to any <br />award of an agreement, certificates of insurance evidencing the required coverage. <br />Separate insurance certificates need not be furnished if the VENDOR and all <br />subcontractors have previously filed with the CITY certificates that are currently in <br />effect. The VENDOR or its subcontractors shall perform no work under this Contract <br />after expiration or cancellation of their insurance. <br />Throughout the term of the Agreement the Vendor shall provide the City with <br />certificates of insurance evidencing the above stated coverages. The general liability <br />and umbrella insurances must be issued on an occurrence basis and must name the <br />CITY, its officers and employees as additional insureds on a primary basis. <br />Prepared by Barry Strock Consulting Associates, Inc.
