City of North Olmsted, Y 1 xxx xxxx <br />11 <br />indemnification shall survive the expiration and termination of this contract <br />provided the CITY maintains an annual Support Agreement with VENDOR. <br />INSURANCE <br />The VENDOR shall secure and maintain throughout the duration of the Contract <br />insurance of such types and in such amounts as may be necessary to protect itself and <br />the interests of the CITY against all hazards or risks of loss as hereinafter specified. <br />The form and limits of such insurance, together with the underwriter thereof in <br />each case, shall be acceptable to the CITY; but regardless of any CITY review, it <br />shall be the responsibility of the VENDOR to maintain adequate insurance coverage <br />at all times. Failure of the VENDOR to maintain adequate coverage shall not <br />relieve it of any contractual responsibility or obligation. <br />Insurance companies providing the required insurance policies must be Ohio <br />admitted carriers, have a policyholder's rating of "A" or better, and a Financial <br />Rating of at least "10" or better according to the current Best Insurance Rating <br />Guide. VENDOR shall also provide CITY prior to the commencement of any work <br />satisfactory evidence of Workers Compensation Insurance, including Employers <br />Liability and Disability Insurance meeting at least the minimum Ohio statutory <br />requirements. Satisfactory certificates of insurance shall be filed with the CITY <br />prior to starting any work on the Contract. Certificates shall state that sixty (60) <br />days written notice will be given to the CITY before any policy covered thereby is <br />changed or canceled. <br />• Worker's Compensation and Employer's Liability: This insurance shall <br />protect the VENDOR against all claims under applicable state worker's <br />compensation laws. The VENDOR shall also be protected against claims for injury, <br />disease, or death of employees, which for any reason may not fall within the <br />provisions of a worker's compensation law. The liability limits shall not be less <br />than the following: <br />Worker' compensation---------- Stawtory Employer's liabiliry <br />by accident each accident $100,000 <br />by disease each employee $100,000 <br />by disease policy limit $500 000 <br />• Comprehensive Automobile Liability: This insurance shall be written in <br />comprehensive form and shall protect the VENDOR and the CITY against all claims <br />for injuries to members of the public and damage to property of others arising from <br />the VENDOR's use of motor vehicles and shall cover operation on or off the site of all <br />motor vehicles licensed for highway use whether they are owned, non-owned, or <br />hired.
