<br />ARTICLE 24 <br />APPLICATION AND INTERPRETATION OF WORK <br />RCTLES, POLICIES AND DIRECTIVES <br />24.1 The FOP/OLCI recognizes that the Employer, in order to carry out its statutory <br />mandates and goals, has the right to promulgate reasonable work rules, policies, procedures and <br />directives consistent with statutory anthority, to regulate the personal conduct of employees while <br />at work and the conduct of the Employer's services and programs. <br />24.2 The Employer agrees that, to the extent any work rules have been or will become <br />reduced to writing, every ernployee shall have access to them for the duration of this Agreement. <br />Copies of newiy established written work rules or a.mendments to existing work rules will be <br />made availabie to all bargaining unit members. <br />24.3 It is the Emptoyer's intention to uni.formly apply work rules, policies, and <br />directives among ail Employees. <br />24.4 As soon as reasonably possible after the execution of this Agreement, the <br />Employer shall furnish to the FOP/OLCI a copy or copies of the existing written work rules. <br />24.5 Ail new employees during their probationary period sha.ll be supplied with a <br />personal copy of aIl work rules, policies, procedures and directives. Which documents shail be <br />returned upon Employees completian of his probationary period. <br />40
