AGREEMENT <br />This Agreement is ma.de between the City of North Olmsted (hereinafter referred to as the <br />"City"), and Ohio Labor Council (hereina$er refened to as the "F.O.P."). <br />The purpose of this Agreement is to provide a fair and reasonable method of enabling <br />employees covered by this Agreement to participate, through representation, in the establishment <br />of terms and conditions of their employment, and to establish a peaceful procedure for the <br />resolution of differences between the parties. <br />ARTICLE 1 <br />RECOGNITION <br />1.1 The Administration recognizes the F.O.P./Ohio Labor Council as the sole and <br />exclusive bargaining representative for ail full-time Police Officers in the City of North Olmsted <br />comprised of the following two bargaining units: (1) Patroltnen and (2) Sergeants through <br />Captain, inclusive, and exclusive of Chief of Police, for the purpose of coliective baxgaining with <br />respectito rates of pay, wages, hours of work and conditions of employment. It is fiwther <br />understood by the parties tha.t wages, total complement of personnei, and certain other economic <br />provisions are subject to enactment of an appropriate ordinance by the North Ohnsted City <br />Council pursuant to the City Charter. <br />1.2 In the event of a dispute between the parties as to future inclusions or exclusions <br />from the units resulting from the establishment of new or changed classifications or titles, either <br />party to this Agreement may apply to the State Employment Relations Board for resolutions of the <br />disputes. <br />
