-? -Vww? <br />Ordinance No. 2004-41 <br />NOW, TIYEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />NORTH OLMSTED, COUNTY OF CUYAHOGA AND STATE OF OHIO: <br />SECTION 1: That there be and hereby is created new Section 141.09 of Chapter 141 <br />(Department of Public Service) of the Administrative Code, which, as created, shall read in its <br />entirety as follows: <br />141.09 ADMINISTRATIVE MOTOR VEHICLE POOL. <br />(a) The Director of Public Service shall have the duty of establishing and maintaining an <br />Administrative Motor Vehicle Pool, which shall be under his direction and control. The pool <br />shall initially be comprised of the three (3) Service Department motor vehicles that previously <br />were assigned to the Mayor, the Director of Public Service and Public Safety for their exclusive <br />use. The Director of Public Service may, from time to time, replace the motor vehicles assigned <br />to the pool with other vehicles owned by the City, when necessary and in order to insure that the <br />vehicles in the Administrative Motor Vehicle Pool are of appropriate quality and service for the <br />City's administrative officials. <br />(b) The motor vehicles assigned to the Administrative Motor Vehicle Pool shall be available <br />for sign-out use by the Mayor and each of the City Directors. The Director of Public Service <br />shall establish rules and regulations for the use of vehicles assigned to the Administrative Motor <br />Vehicle Pool. Said rules shall include a provision that the Mayor and any Director may sign out <br />any of the three vehicles assigned to the pool, on an as needed basis, for the purpose of <br />conducting official City business during working hours, which shall include driving to and from <br />semmars. <br />SECTION 2: That the operation of any Ordinance, or part of any Ordinance in conflict <br />or inconsistent with any provision of this Ordinance is, to the extent of any such conflict or <br />inconsistency, repealed. <br />SECTION 3: That this Ordinance shall take effect and be in force from and after the <br />earliest period allowed by law, but, in order to afford City officials sufficient time to locate <br />suitable alternate transportation, no earlier than June 1, 2004. <br />PASSED: <br />--, <br />First Reading: -3/ S/" y <br />Second Reading: <br />Third Reading.• <br />Committee: <br />2 <br />
