i <br />CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />ORDINANCE NO. 2004-50 <br />BY: Mayor Musial <br />AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING RANGE OF COMPENSATION RATES FOR THE FOLLOWING POS/T/ONS <br />TRANSFERRED TO THE DEPARTMENT OF PLANNING: CLERK OF COMM/SSIONS AND ASSISTANT CLERK <br />OF COMM/SSIONS; AND OTHERWISE RE-ESTABLISHING THE COMPENSATION RATE RANGES FOR <br />VARIOUS ADMIN/STRATIVE AND LEG/SLATIVE PERSONNEL FOR THE YEARS 2004 AND 2005, AND <br />DECLAR/NG AN EMERGENCY. <br />WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 2003-138, as amended from time to time, established the compensation rate ranges and <br />benefits for the City's various administrative and legislative personnel for the years 2004 through 2005; and <br />WHEREAS, it is the desire of this Council to establish compensation rate ranges for the positions of Clerk of <br />Commissions and Assistant Clerk of Commissions which have been transferred from the Mayor's office to the <br />Department of Planning, and to otherwise re-establish all of the existing compensation rate ranges for the City's <br />various administrative legislative personnel for the year 2004 and 2005, established by ordinance no. 2003-138, as <br />amended from time to time; and. <br />WHEREAS, it is accordingly necessary to amend Section 1 of Ordinance No. 2004-45, the most recently amended <br />version of Ordinance No. 2003-138, to create a new Section 10 for positions within the Department of Planning, and to <br />otherwise revise the numbering of Sections within the Compensation Rate Range ordinance; and <br />WHEREAS, Section 1 of Ordinance No. 2004-45 presently reads as follows: <br />"SECTION 1: That the following salary ranges are hereby established for administrative and legislative <br />personnel of the City of North Olmsted. The salaries in this section shall be determined by the Mayor as <br />appropriate. <br />FROM TO <br />A. Mayor <br />B.
