? <br />CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />ORDINANCE NO. 2004 - 9 <br />BY: Mayor Musial <br />AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR OF THE CITY OF NORTH <br />OLMSTED TO ENTER INTO A LEASE AGREEMENT FOR THE LAW <br />DEPARTMENT OFFICES AT THE COMMUNITY BUILDING FOR A ONE <br />OR TWO-YEAR TERM COMMENCING ON FEBRUARY 1, 2004, AND <br />DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. <br />WHEREAS, it is the desire of this Council to authorize the Mayor to enter into a Lease <br />Agreement with North Olmsted Associates, Ltd., for office space in the Community Building, <br />26777 Lorain Road, Suite 416, North Olmsted, Ohio, for the City's Law Department for either <br />period February 1, 2004 through January 31, 2005 or February l, 2004 through January 31, <br />2006. <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COIINCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />NORTH OLMSTED, CUYAHOGA COUNTY, AND STATE OF OHIO: <br />SECTION 1: That the Mayor be and he hereby is authorized to enter into a Lease <br />Agreement with North Olmsted Associates, Ltd., for office space in the Community Building, <br />26777 Lorain Road, Suite 416, North Olmsted, Ohio, for the City's Law Department for a one or <br />two-year period, commencing on February 1, 2004, in substantially the form of the copy which <br />is attached hereto and marked as "Exhibit A." <br />SECTION 2: That this Ordinance is hereby declared to be an emergency measure <br />immediately necessary for the preservation of the public health, safety and welfare, and for the <br />reason that it is necessary that this Ordinance go into effect immediately so that the Law <br />Department can continue to provide vital services to the City from existing facilities, and further <br />provided it receives the affirmative vote of two-thirds of all members of Council, it shall take <br />effect and be in force immediately upon its passage and approval by the Mayor. <br />PASSED: ?4 -x.,c.
