Marburger, an attorney with Walter & Haverfield, is an experienced litigator and <br />counselor on municipal legal issues, with particular expertise in public sector employment <br />matters. <br />Ms. Marburger's current practice includes defense of public employers in employrnent-related <br />litigation, including administrative appeals and employment discrimination actions; rendering <br />advice to municipal managers regarding employment and labor issues governed by federal, state, <br />and local laws; review and revision of civil service rules and of personnel handbooks. She has <br />special expertise in public employee privacy issues. <br />Ms. Marburger was the Chief Assistant Director of Law for Labor and Employment for the City <br />of Cleveland Law Department from 1992 to 1995. Prior to th.at time, she served as legal counsel <br />to the Cleveland Civil Service Commission from 1985 to 1992.
