<br />SECT(ON 15: That atl pay ranges and amounts established will be effective no earlier than January h st of the
<br />respective year. Salaries specified in this OrdinaRCe shall be paid by the Director of Finance on a bi-weekly basis.
<br />SECTION 16: That upon the approval of the Mayor and/or respective Director, all full-time personnel listed within
<br />this Ordinance who are not exempt from the overtime compensation provisions of the federal FLSA shall be paid
<br />time and one-half of their straight time rate of pay for hours worked in excess of forty (40) hours in any work week,
<br />and double time for hours worked on Sundays and Holidays in excess of forty (40) hours in any work week;
<br />provided, however, that such employees may be permitted, or required, to accrue and use compensatory time off
<br />("comp time") in lieu of receiving paid overtime compensation for such hours worked, pursuant to administrative
<br />policy as estabiished by the Mayor in accordance with FLSA law. A!l remaining full-time personnel listed in this
<br />ordinance who are exempt from FLSA overtime compensation provisions shali not be entitled to any paid overtime
<br />compensation for working in excess of forty (40) hours per work week, but may accrue 2nd use "comp time" if
<br />provided for pursuant to administrative policy established by the Mayar for such personnel.
