? <br />CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />ORDINANCE NO. 2002 -190 <br />BY: Council Members McKay, Garea.u, Kasler, Miller, Nashar <br />AN ORDINANCE REPEALING SECTION 171.07 OF THE ADMINISTRATIVE <br />CODE, ENTITLED "SECRETARY TO HOIISING COUNCIL/TAX INCENTIVE <br />REVIEW COUNCIL," AMENDING SECTION 135.021 OF THE <br />ADMINISTRATIYE CODE, ENTITLED "ASSISTANT DIRECTOR, " SO AS TO <br />TRANSFER THE DUTIES OF THE HOUSING COUNCIL/TIRC SECRETARY TO <br />THE ASSISTANT DIRECT4R OF FINANCE, AND DECLARING AN <br />EMERGENCY. <br />WHEREAS, this Council finds that the duties performed by the Secretary to the Housing <br />CounciUTax Incentive Review Council, a part-time position which is now vacant, may be <br />properly performed by the Assistant Director of Finance, a full-time position; and <br />WHEREAS, it is the desire of this Council accordingly to eliminate the part-time position <br />of Secretary to the Housing CounciUTax Incentive Review Council, and to transfer the duties of <br />said position to the full-time Assistant Director of Finance position; and <br />WHEREAS, it is the intent of this Council, in separate legislation, to appropriately <br />increase the salary range of the position of Assistant Director of Finance and to authorize a <br />transfer in appropriated funds from the Economic Development Fund to the Finance Department <br />Staff Line Item of the General Fund, to enable the Director of Finance to accordingly increase <br />the annual compensation paid to the Assistant Director of Finance as a consequence of the <br />additional duties imposed upon the position of Assistant Director of Finance by this legislation; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />NORTH OLMSTED, COUNTY OF CUYAHOGA AND STATE OF OHIO: <br />SECTIOIV 1: That Section 171.07 of the Administrative Cade of the City of North <br />Olmsted, entitled "Secretary to Housing Council/Tax Incentive Review Council," be and the <br />same hereby is repealed. <br />SECTION Z: That Section 135.021 of the Administrative Code of the City of North <br />Olmsted, entitled "Assistant Director," which presently reads as follows: <br />
