CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED ORDINANCE NO. 2002-14 BY: Mayor Musial and Council Member Gareau. AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING FEES FOR PROGRAMS AND FOR THE USE OF THE FACILITIES OF THE PARKS AND RECREATION DEPARTMENT, REPEALING ORDINANCE NO. 96-114, AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCYAS AMENDED. WHEREAS, by virtue of Ordinance No. 96-114, Council established rates and fees for the use of the facilities and programs of the Parks and Recreation Department; and WHEREAS, the Parks and Recreation Commission has reviewed and recommended approval of the new fee schedules set forth in this Ordinance; and WHEREAS, consistent with the recommendation of the Parks and Recreation Commission, Council has deterrnined that certain of said rates and fees should be adjusted, fees established for new departmental programs, and a program of reduced resident rates be established; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED, COUNTY OF CUYAHOGA AND STATE OF OHIO: SECTION 1: That an identification card be established for all program registrants and residents of the City of North Olmsted who wish to participate in programs or utilize facilities of the North Olmsted Parks and Recreation Department. A. Identif cation cards shall be issued by the Parks and Recreation Department and shall include the name, phone number, and picture of the cardholder. B. Fees for processing of these identification cards shall be $1.00 per card to be renewed on an annual basis. Replacement of an identification card shall have a fee of $.75 and each additional card required for a family of more than five members shall have a$.50 fee. C. The Parks and Recreation Comrnissioner shall establish times that identification cards are available for purchase and an appropriate registration form. To obtain a resident identification card proof of residency must be verified through a current voters registration card, land tax statement, or other means of verification as approved by the Parks and Recreation Commissioner. Children shall be verified by their parents or legal guardian. D. For a11 resident fees included in this ordinance, a resident shall show their identification card to receive the appropriate resident rate at the time of payment. Resident non-card holders and non-card camers shall be charged the non-resident fee in a11 cases.
