J UN-b (-Gl'Jbd btS - 41 <br />time to rime, the contractor agrees to make availa6le for inspectioiz and/ar <br />rcproduction by the LPA, ODOT ar United States govemment, a11 records, books, <br />and documents of every kind and description that relate to this contracL <br />Nothing contained in this Agreement shall in any way modify the LPA's legal duties and obligations <br />to maintain andlar retain its records under Ohio public recards laws. <br />SECTION XiX - OHIO ETHICS LAW REQUIR.EMENTS <br />The LPA shatl adhere tv the requiremcnts of Ohio ethics law as provided by Section 102.04 of the <br />Ohio Revised Code in the same mannar as if its aff cials were State officials and its employees were <br />State emplo}ces. <br />SEC'TIUN XX - DRUGFREE WORK PLACE <br />The LPA agrees to comply with all applicable State and Federal iaw regarding a drug-free work <br />place. The I.PA shall make a good faith effort to ensure that its employees will not purchase, <br />transfer, usa, or possess illegal drugs, or abuse prescription drugs in aiay way. <br />SFCTION XXI - EQ3TAL EMPLOYMENT OPPORTU1vITY <br />In canying out this Agreement, the LPA shsll not discriminate against any employee or applicant <br />for emplayment because of raca, religion, color, sex, sexual arient2tion, national origin, handicap, <br />ago, Vietnam-eraveteran status, or disability as that term is defuted in the AmericanwithDisabitities <br />Act The LPA shail onsure that applicants are hired and that employees are treated during <br />employment withaut regard to their race, religion, color, sex, sexual orientation, national origin, <br />handicap, a.ge, Vietnam-era veteran status, ar ciisability. Such action shall include, but nat be limited <br />to the following: employment, upgrading, demotion, or transfer; recruitment advertising; layoff or <br />teimination; rates af pay or ather forms af compensation; and selection for training including <br />apprenticeship. <br />The LPA agrees to post in conspicuous places availabte to employees an.d applicants for <br />employment, notices setting forth the provisions of this nondiscrimination clause, and in all <br />solicitations ar advcrtisements for emgloyees ptaced by it, state that aIl qualificd applicants shall <br />receive consideration fnr employment without regard to race, religian, color, sex, sexual orientation, <br />n.ational origin, handicap, age, Vietnam-era veteran status or disability.
