Toro GMS Greensmower, wluch is sutplus personal property no longer needed by the City, for a total <br />credit of $15,985.00 to be applied against the purchase price for new groundskeeping equipmern to <br />be used at Springvale, and that Council further determines, in accordance with Section 955.02 of the <br />Codified Ordinances, that disposing of said surplus personal property by this trade-in method is a <br />commercially reasonable method for soliciting an offer of pwchase of the said surplus property. <br />SEC770N Z: That this Ordinance is hereby declared to be an emergency measure <br />immediately necessary for the preservation of the pubfic health, safety and welfare, and for the reason <br />that it is necessary that this Ordinance go urto effect immediately so that the City can dispose of said <br />property and lease or purchase new groundskceping equipment for Springvale in time for the Spring <br />grass cutting season so that the Springvale golf course may be properly maintained, and further <br />provided it receives the affirmative vote of two-thirds of all members of Council, it shall take effeet <br />and be in force immediately upon its passage and approval by the Mayor. <br />? <br />PASSED: <br />ATTEST.• <br />, <br />; ?zc <br />BARBARA L.
