Ordinance Na 2002-57 <br />Page 2 <br />SECTION 1: That the Mayor be and he is hereby authorized, subject to approval <br />by the Board of Control, to enter into an agreement with Medical Mutual of Ohio to <br />provide Third-Party Administrator (TPA) services to the City in connection with the <br />City's self-insurance plan for its employees, and a stop loss policy health insurance <br />policy, all substantially in the form of the "Stop Loss Contrad," with all attached <br />Addenda, which is marked as Exhibit A and attached to this Ordinance. <br />SECTIOIV Z: That the Ageemem shall be effective retroactive to January 1, <br />2402. <br />SECTION 3: That this Ordinanee is hereby declazed to be an emergency measure <br />immediatsly necessary for the preservation of the public health, safety and welfare, and <br />for the reason that it is necessary that this Ordinance go into effect immediately so that <br />there is no gap in health insurance coverage for City employees, and further provided it <br />receives the a.ffirmative vote of twathirds of a11 members of Council, it shall take effect <br />and be in force immediately upon its passage and appraval by the Mayor. <br />1 <br />PASSED: ?, 00 ?- First Reading: ? l b o)- <br />-- _u Second Reading.• <br />Third Reading: a--- <br />Comrnittee: C-_4 <br />ATTES7:• <br />BARBARA L.
