<br />AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING A METHOD FOR DETERMINING THE SALARY RANGES FOR NON-
<br />BARGAINING UNIT SECRETARY POSITIONS BY REFERENCE TO COMPARABLE BARGAINING UNIT
<br />POSITIQNS, AND OTHERWISE RE-ESTABLISHING THE RATES OF COMPENSATION FOR VARIOUS
<br />ADMINISTRATNE AND LEGISLATIVE PERSONNEL AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY, AS AMENDED.
<br />WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 2001-02, as amended by Ordinance No. 2002-06, established the rates of
<br />compensation for various administrative and legislative personnel for the years 2001 through 2003; and
<br />WHEREAS, it is the desire of this Council to provide a method for determining the salary ranges for all non-
<br />bargaining unit secretary positions and the Clerk of Commissions and Assistant Clerk of Commissions by providing
<br />that the range for each such non-bargaining unit position shall be, on the tow end of the range, the same as that for
<br />the comparable secretary position in the bargaining unit for clerical and technicat employees, and, on the high end
<br />of the range, 2.5 °/a greater than the highest step for the comparable secretary position in the said bargaining unit;
<br />WHEREAS, this new method requires that substantive changes be made only in the language of Sections 1, 2,
<br />3 and 4 of Ordinance No. 2001-02, as amended by Ordinance No. 2002-06; and
<br />WHEREAS, other than the foregoing changes, it is the intent of this Council to readopt all of the substantive
<br />provisions of Ordinance No. 2001-02, as amended by Ordinance No. 2002-06;
<br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NORTH OLM5TED, COUNTY
<br />OF CUYAHOGA AND STATE OF OHIO.
<br />SECTION 1: That the following salary ranges are hereby established for administrative and legislative
<br />personnel of the City of North Olmsted. The salaries in this section shall be determined by the Mayor as
<br />appropriate.
