Work days, hours worked per day, part-time or full-time status of the Mayor's Administrative <br />Assistant shall be determined as deemed appropriate by the Mayor. <br />SECTION 2: That the following salary ranges are hereby established for employees of the Department of Law. <br />The salaries in this section shall be determined by the Director of Law as appropriate. <br />FROM TO <br />2001 2002 2003 <br />A. Director of Law (established through separate ordinance) <br />B. Assistant Director of Law <br />C. City Prosecutor <br />D. Legal Secretary I <br />E. The Director of Finance is authorized and directed to pay to the Director of Law, for secretarial services <br />and other general office expenses, the sum of $19,741 in 2001, $20,333 in 2002 and $20,942 in 2003. <br />SECTION 3: That the following salary ranges are hereby established for employees of the Department of <br />Finance. The salaries in this section shall be determined by the Director of Finance as appropriate. <br />FROM TO <br />2001 2002 2003 <br />A. Director of Finance (established through separate ordinance) <br />B. Assistant Director of Finance 30,000 46,679 48,079 49,522 Annually <br />C. Secretary I (satary range, but not authority to determine the Secretary's <br />satary, is the same as established in Section 4) <br />SECTION 4: That the salary for nonbargaining unit Secretary I and Secretary II full and part time positions <br />shall be determined by the Mayor, Director and/or Division Leader and be no greater than the highest step of <br />the collective bargaining agreement for the respective positions plus 2.5%. <br />SECTION 5: That the following salary ranges are hereby established for legislative employees for the office of <br />Council. The salaries in this section shall be determined by the President of Councit as appropriate. <br />FROM TO <br />2001 2002 2003 <br />A. Cferk of Council 22,235 38,239 39,386 40,568 Annually <br />B. Assistant to the Clerk of Council 17,070 17,582 18,109 18,653 AnnuaNy <br />C. Temporary Clerk of Council shall receive $15 per hour, per meeting and not less than $25 per meeting. <br />SECTION 6: That the following salary ranges are hereby established for various employees employed in the <br />Department of Public Service and Properties, as well as Public Works Division.
