EXHIBTT II <br />METHOD OF PAYMENT <br />2.1 For basic services under Section 1. Basic Services of the <br />GEOTECHNICAL SERVICES PROFESSIONAL as descriibed in Exhibit I, CITY sha11 <br />pay (NAME OF GEOTECHNICAL SERVICES FIRM) as follows consistent vcith the <br />(NAME OF GEOTECHNICAL SERVICES FIR.N)'S May xx, 2002 Proposal attached <br />hereto as Exhibit IV and made a part hereof. <br />2.1.1 The CITY sha.ll make total payrnents to the (NAME OF <br />GEOTECFMCAL SERVICES FIRM) in a total amount not to <br />exceed $xx,xxx.xx (XX THOUSAND AND YY DOLLARS). <br />2.1.2 The (NAME OF GEOTECI-iNICAL SERVICES FIRM) shall submit <br />one invoice to the CITY for the Section 1. Basic Services of the <br />GEOTECHNICAL SERVICES PROF]ESSIONAL performed by the <br />(NAME OF GEOTECHrTIC.AL SERV:[CES FIRN). <br />2.13 The monthly invoices submitted. by the (NAME OF <br />GEOTECFiNICAL SERVICES FIKM'! to the CITY for the Section <br />l. Basic Services of the GEOTECI-iNICAL SERVICES <br />PROFESSIONAL performed by the (NAME OF GEOTECHNICAL <br />SERVICES FIRM) shall include: (1) identification of labor costs by <br />labor classification, number of hours worked and hourly rates; (2) <br />identification of the indirect cost rate applied to the labor costs; (3) <br />identification of non-labor costs by description of the item, the <br />vendor name, vendor invoice number (if available), cost to the <br />(NAME OF GEOTECHNICAL SER.VICES FIRM) and handling <br />costs if any. - <br />2.1.4 The CITY shall review the invoice submitted by, the (NAME OF <br />GEOTECHNICAL SERVICES FIRM) within ten (10) calendar days <br />of the CTTY'S receipt of the invoice submitted by the (NAME OF <br />GEOTECHNICAL SERVICES FIRM).
