2.1.5 The CITY shall notify the (NAME OF GEOTECHr1ICAL <br />SERVICES FIR1V) within fifteen (15) calendar days of the CITY'S <br />receipt of the invoice of any arnount(s) conta.ined in the monthly <br />invoice that will not be paid by the CITY due to: (1) inadequate <br />documentation for the amount(s) requested; (2) the amount(s) <br />requested being outside the scope of services in Section l. Basic <br />Services of the GEOTECHNICAL SERVICES PRQFESSIONAL; <br />and (3) the amount(s) requested exceed the maximum cost of the <br />(NAME OF GEOTECHNICAL SERVICES FIRIV)'S services <br />approved by the CITY. <br />2.2 For optional services under Section 2. Optional Services of the <br />GEOTECHNICAL SERVICES PROFESSIONAL, CITY shall pay the (NAME OF <br />GEOTECHNICAL SERVICES FIRM) upon receipt of an approved scope and work task <br />breakdown and upon written authorization to proceed with the optional services. <br />2.3 The maximum cost of the (NAME OF GF,OTECHNICAL SERVICES <br />FIRM)'S services under Section 1.
