It was good to
see you again. Floyd Browne Associates (FBA) looks forward to renewing our professional
relationship with the Ciry of North Olmsted in the area of wastewater engineering.
Immediate Need - Phase I
As you described at the June 13' meeting and in your June 28' comment letter, the City's
immediate sanitary sewer system concern is the area bordered by Cook Road on the North,
Stearns Road on the East, Bronson Road on the West and the Norfolk & Southern Ra.ilroad
right of way on the South, an area of about 400-425 acres (i.e. the study area). Specifically,
analysis of the preliminary Willow Woods Cluster Home Subdivision sanitary sewer system
plans is a priority. The City has a limited timeframe to respond to the developers with review
comments. The first impression is that the proposed 8-inch sanitary sewers displayed on the
preliminary plans for the Willow Woods Cluster Homes Subdivision will not likely be
sufficient to serve the long-term sanitary sewer system needs of this azea especially for the
existing unsewered area east along Cook Road from the proposed Willow Woods Cluster
Homes Subdivision to Stearns Road.
Overall Status
Olmsted Township lies south of the City of North Olmsted. Over the years, developers in
vazious sections of Olmsted Township adjacent to the City have extended sewers to the North
K\N1NatC 0lmneA\Pxupou4\p273.201RI.dac
Offtces in Dayton.
