INTRODUCTION <br />1.1. Instructions <br />The City of North Olmsted invites Statements of Qualifications (SOQ) to provide city <br />engineering services. To be eligible for consideration, the proposing individual ar firm must be <br />capable of providing the services as set forth herein and must also be able to meet all other <br />criteria outlined in this Request for Qualifications. <br />1.2. Proiect Coordination/Inquiries <br />Duane Limpert, Director of Public Service, supervises the Engineering Division. All inquiries <br />relating to this request shall be addressed, in writing, to: <br />City of North Olmsted <br />Duane Limpert, Director of Public Service <br />5200 Dover Center Road <br />North Olmsted, Ohio 44070 <br />(440) 716-4150 <br />limpertd@north-olmsted.com <br />Responses to pertinent inquiries will be provided to all firms as a written addendum. Firms are <br />not to rely on oral discussions, instructions or answers. Any oral discussions, instructions or <br />answers will not be binding on the City. <br />1.3. Submittal Date and Location <br />Four (4) copies of all Statements of Qualifications must be received by the City of North <br />Olmsted at the above listed address by 4:00 p.m. on January 15, 2009. Late SOQs will not be <br />accepted, and any SOQ so received shall be returned to the firm unopened. SOQs must be <br />submitted in a sealed envelope plainly marked "CITY ENGINEER - STATEMENT OF <br />QUALIFICATIONS." <br />1.4. Division of Engineering <br />The Division of Engineering falls within the jurisdiction of the Department of Public Service. In <br />the past, the Division of Engineering has been staffed with City employees. Recently, the City <br />modified its Division of Engineering so that all of the City's engineering services are provided <br />by a professional engineering firm.
