INTRODUCTION 1.1. Instructions The City of North Olmsted invites Statements of Qualifications (SOQ) to provide city engineering services. To be eligible for consideration, the proposing individual ar firm must be capable of providing the services as set forth herein and must also be able to meet all other criteria outlined in this Request for Qualifications. 1.2. Proiect Coordination/Inquiries Duane Limpert, Director of Public Service, supervises the Engineering Division. All inquiries relating to this request shall be addressed, in writing, to: City of North Olmsted Duane Limpert, Director of Public Service 5200 Dover Center Road North Olmsted, Ohio 44070 (440) 716-4150 limpertd@north-olmsted.com Responses to pertinent inquiries will be provided to all firms as a written addendum. Firms are not to rely on oral discussions, instructions or answers. Any oral discussions, instructions or answers will not be binding on the City. 1.3. Submittal Date and Location Four (4) copies of all Statements of Qualifications must be received by the City of North Olmsted at the above listed address by 4:00 p.m. on January 15, 2009. Late SOQs will not be accepted, and any SOQ so received shall be returned to the firm unopened. SOQs must be submitted in a sealed envelope plainly marked "CITY ENGINEER - STATEMENT OF QUALIFICATIONS." 1.4. Division of Engineering The Division of Engineering falls within the jurisdiction of the Department of Public Service. In the past, the Division of Engineering has been staffed with City employees. Recently, the City modified its Division of Engineering so that all of the City's engineering services are provided by a professional engineering firm.
