A. Firm Information: provide introduction, general overview, history and age of firm <br />B. Qualifications: describe experience in providing professional engineering services, <br />including services for cities similar to the City of North Olmsted <br />C. Team Organization: identify key staff assigned to the City and their requisite <br />qualifications <br />D. References: provide references for services and projects that are similar to the required <br />services and best demonstrate the firm's ability to provide the required services <br />E. Any additional information which demonstrates the ability of the firm to successfully <br />provide the required services <br />3.2. Evaluation Criteria <br />The following criteria will be used to evaluate all SOQs: <br />A. Experience of the firm in performing similar professional services, including experience <br />with cities having comparable needs <br />B. Experience of personnel who are to be assigned to the City of North Olmsted <br />C. Experience with engineering projects in the City of North Olmsted <br />D. Capacity of the firm to meet project schedules based upon workload <br />E. Any other factors relevant to meeting the City's engineering needs <br />4 SELECTION PROCESS <br />4.1. Evaluation and Selection Procedure <br />In its evaluation of SOQs, the City shall follow the provisions and requirements contained in <br />Chapter 112 (Personal Service Contracts) of the North Olmsted Codified Ordinances, <br />specifically, as listed in 112.07 (Requests far Qualifications). Based upon SOQ ranking, up to <br />three firms will be invited to present technical proposals to the City. <br />4.2. Additional Provisions for Consideration of SOQs <br />A. Any SOQ submitted to the City is to be prepared at the firm's expense. <br />B. Any assumptions made in preparing the SOQ must be listed separately and attached to <br />the SOQ in writing. <br />C. The City does not obligate itself to accept any SOQ. <br />D. The City reserves the right to reject any and all SOQs and will have no liability <br />whatsoever to any firm whose SOQ is not accepted. <br />E. Acceptance of a SOQ will not constitute an agreement between the firm and the City. <br />Any SOQ will not be binding on the City unless and until an agreement covering all <br />conditions and provisions of the consulting services has been reduced to writing, <br />executed by both the successful firm and the City.
