(2) Animal training facilities and indoor animal boarding facilities, excluding <br />kennels, provided, that, in addition to the criteria, standards and conditions <br />provided for in Chapter 1118, no such facility shall be located closer than 350 feet <br />from any residential zoning district, and further provided that animal noise and <br />odor must be effectively confined to any such building so used. <br />(3) Recvclins collection centers, nrovided, that, in addition to the criteria, <br />standards and conditions provided for in Chapter 1118, no such facilitv shall <br />be located closer than 200 feet from anv residential zoning district, all <br />operations storaQe and other business activities must be conducted completely <br />indoors, and further provided that noise must be effectivelv confined to anv <br />such buildini! so used Such a facilitv mav be no lar$er than 10,000 sauare <br />feet. <br />(e) Definitions. For the purposes of this section, the following definitions shall apply: <br />(1) "Animal hospitals/clinics" means any facility used for the medical treatment of <br />animals, where animals may be boarded only during their convalescence from <br />such medical treatment, and where all operations are conducted completely <br />indoors. <br />(2) "Animal grooming facility" means any facility providing bathing or trimming of <br />domestic animals for a fee, where all operations are conducted completely <br />indoors. This term includes facilities that board domestic animals for a maximum <br />period of forty-eight hours incidental to the grooming services provided. <br />(3) "Animal training facility" means any facility providing training of domestic <br />animals for a fee, where all operations are conducted completely indoors. This <br />term includes facilities that board domestic animals for a maximum period of <br />forty-eight hours incidental to the training services provided. <br />(4) "Indoor animal boarding facility" means any facility where domestic animals <br />owned by another person are temporarily boarded for a fee and whose activities <br />are conducted completely indoors. <br />(5) "Kennels" means any facility used for the boarding, breeding, raising, training, <br />showing, or selling of dogs and/or cats for a fee. Such facilities may include <br />outdoor dog runs. <br />(6) "Recvcling collection center" means a facilitv that is not a iunkvard, as that <br />word is currentlv defined in Chanter 4737 of the Ohio Revised Code, and in <br />which recoverable resources, such as newspapers, magazines, books, and <br />other paper products; 21ass; metal cans; plastics and other products, are <br />collected, sorted and temuorarilv stored arior to shiDment for remanufacture <br />into new materials Such a facilitv mav allow limited comaacting or crushing <br />of recvclable materials.
