CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED ORDINANCE NO. 2008 - 36 BY: Mayor O'Grady. AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR THE AMENDMENT OF THE ZONE MAP OF THE CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED BY REZONING THE REAR (NORTH) PORTION OF PERMANENT PARCEL NO. 233-11-012, LOCATED AT 29690 LORAIN ROAD, KNOWN AND USED AS PATTON'S TOWING, FROM B RESIDENCE SINGLE FAMILY TO GENERAL RETAIL B USINESS. WHEREAS, this Council, upon the recommendation and review of the City Planner, finds that rezoning the rear (north) portion of Permanent Parcel No. 233-11-012 from B residence single family district use to general retail business district use will further, and bears a substantial relation to, the public health, safety, and welfare, and that said rezoning will promote orderly development of a good general retail business use on these parcels of land; and WHEREAS, the Plannin Commission g 2008 , by formal motion, (reco.?mmended - did not recommend) that this Ordinance, rezoning the said parcel of land from B residence single family to general retail business district, be approved; WHEREAS, following publication of newspaper notice and notice to the record title holders of real property located within one thousand (1,000) feet of the property proposed to be rezoned, a public hearing was held, in conformance with the provisions of Section 14 of Article IV of the Charter and Section 1127.03 of the Zoning Code, on the / day of 2008; WHEREAS, this Council, upon careful review and deliberate consideration has determined that the rezoning of the said parcel of real property, which is identified in the attached map labeled Exhibit A, from residential to general retail district, and in relation to inclusion within the wireless communication overlay district represents a sound planning decision and is not likely to have adverse economic impact upon the owners of said properties, ar upon neighbc.:ng properties; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED, CUYAHOGA COUNTY, AND STATE OF OHIO:
