CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />ORDINANCE NO. 2008 - 36 <br />BY: Mayor O'Grady. <br />AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR THE AMENDMENT OF <br />THE ZONE MAP OF THE CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED BY <br />REZONING THE REAR (NORTH) PORTION OF PERMANENT <br />PARCEL NO. 233-11-012, LOCATED AT 29690 LORAIN <br />ROAD, KNOWN AND USED AS PATTON'S TOWING, FROM <br />B RESIDENCE SINGLE FAMILY TO GENERAL RETAIL <br />B USINESS. <br />WHEREAS, this Council, upon the recommendation and review of the City Planner, finds <br />that rezoning the rear (north) portion of Permanent Parcel No. 233-11-012 from B residence <br />single family district use to general retail business district use will further, and bears a substantial <br />relation to, the public health, safety, and welfare, and that said rezoning will promote orderly <br />development of a good general retail business use on these parcels of land; and <br />WHEREAS, the Plannin Commission <br />g 2008 , by formal <br />motion, (reco.?mmended - did not recommend) that this Ordinance, rezoning the said parcel of land <br />from B residence single family to general retail business district, be approved; <br />WHEREAS, following publication of newspaper notice and notice to the record title <br />holders of real property located within one thousand (1,000) feet of the property proposed to be <br />rezoned, a public hearing was held, in conformance with the provisions of Section 14 of Article <br />IV of the Charter and Section 1127.03 of the Zoning Code, on the / day of <br />2008; <br />WHEREAS, this Council, upon careful review and deliberate consideration has determined <br />that the rezoning of the said parcel of real property, which is identified in the attached map labeled <br />Exhibit A, from residential to general retail district, and in relation to inclusion within the <br />wireless communication overlay district represents a sound planning decision and is not likely to <br />have adverse economic impact upon the owners of said properties, ar upon neighbc.:ng <br />properties; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />NORTH OLMSTED, CUYAHOGA COUNTY, AND STATE OF OHIO: <br />
