139 Signs 1163 06 <br />(c) Signs which are attached to the inside of a window, do not exceed ten (10) <br />square feet in sign face area, and do not cover more than twenty-five percent <br />(25 %) of the area of the window pane; <br />(d) Signs which are an integral part of the historic character of a structure that has <br />been designated an official landmark or historic structure by any agency or body <br />of the governments of the United States, State of Ohio, Cuyahoga County or <br />City of North Olmsted. <br />(e) Hand-held signs not set on or affixed to the ground; <br />(fl Temporary signs measuring less than twelve (12) square feet in sign face area, <br />provided that such signs otherwise comply with all other requirements of <br />Section 1163.33; <br />(g) Monuments and markings within a cemetery; <br />(h) Any address numbers required by the Section 1351.01 of the Codified <br />Ordinances, unless larger than six (6) inches in height. <br />(Ord. 2000-12. Passed 5-2-00.) <br />1163.05 APPLICATION FOR ERECTION PERMIT. <br />Application for an erection permit shall be made to the Building Commissioner and <br />shali contain and have attached the following information and/or documentation: <br />(a) Name, address and telephone number of the applicant. <br />(b) Location of building, structure, or lot to which or upon which the sign or other <br />advertising structure is to be attached or erected. <br />(c) Drawing depicting the position of the sign or other advertising structure in <br />relation to any buildings, structures, streets or drives within a distance of one <br />hundred fifty (150) feet, measured in a straight line without regard to <br />intervening buildings, structures, streets or drives. <br />(d) Two blueprints or ink drawings of the plans and specifications and method of <br />construction and attachment of the sign or advertising structure to the building <br />or into the ground. <br />(e) Name of the person erecting the sign or advertising structure. <br />( fl Written consent of the owner of the building, structure, or land to which or on <br />which the sign or advertising structure is to be erected. <br />(g) Any information, calculations, or documentation required by the State Building <br />Code, the local Building Code, and other applicable ordinances of the City. <br />(Ord. 2000-12. Passed 5-2-00.) <br />1163.06 PERMIT ISSUANCE. <br />(a) Upon receipt of a complete and accurate application for an erection permit <br />complying with Section 1163.05, the Building Commissioner shall examine the plans and <br />specifications and the premises upon which the proposed sign or advertising structure shall be <br />erected. <br />2000 Replacement
