Cooperative Agreement <br />For <br />St. Richard's Membership in the Greater Cleveland Food Bank <br />And <br />The North Olmsted Emergency Food Cupboard <br />WHEREAS, the City of North Olmsted, Department of Community Life Services <br />("City") operates an Emergency Food Cupboard ("EFC") with adequate food storage <br />facilities to assist citizens but the City is not otherwise qualified for membership in the <br />food purchasing programs of the Greater Cleveland Food Bank ("GCFB"); and <br />WHEREAS, St. Richard's Parish ("Church") may qualify for membership in <br />GCFB, subject to meeting its food storage requirements, and is interested in purchasing <br />food supplies through GCFB for distribution to families in need; and <br />WHEREAS, the City food cupboard is available to meet the GCFB storage <br />requirements, satisfying that component of St. Richard's membership requirements in <br />GCFB, and thereby facilitating the City's interest in food supplies for the EFC; and <br />WHEREAS, the Council of this City, pursuant to Resolution No 2008-_, has <br />authorized the Mayor to enter into this Cooperative Agreement; and <br />NOW, THEREFORE, the City and the Church agree as follows: <br />A. The City agrees to provide food storage facilities and otherwise support St. <br />Richard's membership requirements for participation in the GCFB and to <br />cooperate with the Church to meet such facility needs at the North Olmsted <br />EFC, including but not limited to sufficient refrigeration and freezer units. <br />B. The Church agrees to file an application for membership in the GCFB, the <br />form for which is incorporated by reference, and agrees to cooperate with the
