Ordinance No. 2008-93 BE AMENDED, AND, AS AMENDED, SHALL READ IN ITS ENTIRETY AS FOLLOVVS: Section 1: That there is hereby created a Hotel/Motel Tax Fund within the Special Revenue Fund group to account for the City's hotel and motel tax revenues and related authorized expenditures of the C-?',. -Police and Fire Divisions. Authorized expenditures from the Fund shall be limited to the purchase of vehicles and equipment for Police and Fire Division Staff, and the repair or replacement of buildings and other capital items or improvements at the Police and Fire Stations; provided, however, that when in anv given vear surplus monies as determined bv the Director of Finance to exist in the Fund over and above those that are required to meet the existing annual debt service for such purchases of vehicles and equipment for Police and Fire Division Staff, and/or for the repair or replacement of buildings and other capital items or improvements at the Police and Fire Stations, then anv other expenditure out of the Fund that meets the-eeeer-a? anv other needs of the C-ity Police or Fire Divisions includinQ Emergencv Disvatch, with the excevtion of waQes and benefits, is authorized each vear from such surplus monies. SECTION 2: That all ordinances, or parts of ordinances, inconsistent or in conflict with this Ordinance, are, to the extent of such inconsistency or conflict, repealed. SECTION 3: That this Ordinance shall take effect and be in force from and after the earliest period provided for by law. ; -..
