Ordinance No. 2008-93 <br />BE AMENDED, AND, AS AMENDED, SHALL READ IN ITS ENTIRETY AS FOLLOVVS: <br />Section 1: That there is hereby created a Hotel/Motel Tax Fund within the <br />Special Revenue Fund group to account for the City's hotel and motel tax <br />revenues and related authorized expenditures of the C-?',. -Police and Fire <br />Divisions. Authorized expenditures from the Fund shall be limited to the <br />purchase of vehicles and equipment for Police and Fire Division Staff, and the <br />repair or replacement of buildings and other capital items or improvements at the <br />Police and Fire Stations; provided, however, that when in anv given vear <br />surplus monies as determined bv the Director of Finance to exist in the Fund <br />over and above those that are required to meet the existing annual debt <br />service for such purchases of vehicles and equipment for Police and Fire <br />Division Staff, and/or for the repair or replacement of buildings and other <br />capital items or improvements at the Police and Fire Stations, then anv other <br />expenditure out of the Fund that meets the-eeeer-a? anv other needs of the C-ity <br />Police or Fire Divisions includinQ Emergencv Disvatch, with the excevtion of <br />waQes and benefits, is authorized each vear from such surplus monies. <br />SECTION 2: That all ordinances, or parts of ordinances, inconsistent or in conflict with <br />this Ordinance, are, to the extent of such inconsistency or conflict, repealed. <br />SECTION 3: That this Ordinance shall take effect and be in force from and after the <br />earliest period provided for by law. <br />; -.. <br />PASSED: <br />First Reading: dr <br />Second Reading: <br />Third Reading.• - •--e???%?-' <br />Committee: <br />AT7'E?'T.• ?- <br />; <br />, <br />BARBARA L.
