AGREEMENT <br />This Agreement is made between the Ciiy of North Olmsted (hereinafter referred to as the <br />"City"), and Oluo Labor Council (hereinafter referred to as the "F.O.P."). <br />The purpose of this Agreement is to provide a fair and reasonable method of enabling <br />employees covered by this Agreement to participate, through representation, in the estabiishment <br />of terms a.nd conditions of their employment, and to establish a peaceful procedure for the <br />resolution of differences between the parties. <br />ARTICLE 1 <br />RECOGNITION <br />1.1 The Administration recognizes the F.O.P./Ohio Labor Council as the sole and <br />exclusive bargaining representative for a11 full-time Police Officers in the City of North Olmsted <br />comprised of the following two bargaining units: (1) Patrolmen and (2) Sergeants through <br />Captain, inclusive, and exclusive of Chief of Police, for the purpose of collective bazgaining with <br />respect to rates of pay, wages, hours of work and conditions of employment. It is further . <br />understood by the parties that wages, total complement of personnel, and certain other economic <br />provisions are subject to enactment of an appropriate ordinance by the North 41msteei City <br />Council pursuant to the City Charter. <br />1.2 In the event af a dispute between the parties as ta fizture inclusions or exclusions <br />from the units resulting from the esta.blishment of new or changed classifications or titles, either <br />party to this Agreement may apply to the State Employment Relations Boazd for resolutions of the <br />disputes. <br />*W:.. <br />1 <br />
