Large, commercial and industrial custorners, due to the <br />varying characteristics of thoir electrie cansumption, may reccive individual price5 from the <br />selectecl Suppliec(s). <br />As agent for its members, NOPEC docs not buy and resell powcr, but represents <br />consumcr interests as a master purchasing agent to set the terms fvr elect-,icity supply and service <br />from a competitive Supplier(s). Through a Tequest fvr proposals and ncgotiativn process, <br />NOPEC develops a contraet with a competitive Supplier for f?rm, all•requirements re:ait eiectric <br />suppiy service. Ttie contract is expeeted to be for a fixed term (ariticipated at two to five ycars). <br />NOPEC may eantraet with one ar more suppliers to meet the needs of participating consumers in <br />msmbcr communities. <br />2.3 Aggrrgtttion ProErsm Funding <br />NOT'EC offers niecnber cornmunitics the vpportunity to gain market leveragc, share <br />resources, and reduce administrative and other costs for developing, implementing and providing <br />oversight for the Aggregatian Program. Fanding for these activities is anticspated to be provided <br />by the sclectcd Supplier(s) with an appropriatc kilowatt hour charge to all participating <br />consumers to cover costs nf the program. 'S`his charge will be a fractian of a mill (less than one <br />tenth of one cent) per kilowatt hovr. Sueh funds will be collected by the Supplier and paid to <br />NOPEC. In thc ever?t additianal funding for NOPEC is roquircd, each NOPEC mernber may be <br />assessed an annual fee pursuant to the agrsement establishing NOPEC.
