Application for building permits which, in the opinion of the Building <br />Officia1, propose minor changes may be expedited by the Landmarks Commission in lieu of full and <br />formal review pursuant Sections 165.08 and 165.09 of this Chapter; provided, however, that the <br />Building OMcial sha11, upon receiving and reviewing such application, give written notice to the <br />Chairman of the Landmarks Commission. The Landmarks Commission may by rule establish <br />procedures for said Chaiiman to review and respond to the Building Official. ffthe Chairmen, within <br />ten days of the notice from the Building Official, notifies the Building Official that the proposal is not <br />deemed a"minor change," and should be reviewed by the Commission pwsuant to the provisions of <br />either Section 165.08 or 165:09, then the Building Officiai sha11 refer the proposal to the Landmarks <br />Commission in accordance with the procedures set forth in Chapter 165. <br />SECTION 2: That the operation of any Ordinance, or part of any Ordinance in conflict or <br />inconsistent with any provision of this Ordinance is, to the extent of any such conflict or <br />inconsistency, repeaied. <br />SECTION 3: That this legislation is hereby declared to be an emergency measure <br />immediately necessary for the preservation of the public health, safety and welfare, and for the further <br />reason that it is immediately necessary to provide for a minor change process in Landmarks <br />Commission matters in order to better administer the provisions of Chapter 165, and to streamline <br />the administrative pracess in order to preserve the time resources of the Commission, and further <br />provided it rQCeives the affirmative vote of two-thirds of all members of Council, it shall take effect <br />and be in force immediately upon its passage by Council and approval by the Mayor. <br />PASSED: <br />G ? <br />First Reading: <br />Second Reading: <br />Third Reading: i 7 3 <br />Committee: J 5 X, <br />THOMAS E.
