ARTICLE 34 <br />WAGE INCREASES <br />Section 34.01 The Employer agrees to continue to pay prevailing GCRTA hourly pay rates and to <br />increase those hourly pay rates when GCRTA employees receive, including retroactivity if <br />applicable; a pay rate increase, based upon tlie following: <br />GCRTA Hourly Code GCRTA Classification Title NOMBL Classification <br />347 Vehicle Servicer Hostler <br />437 Operator Operator <br />442 Equipment Servicer Equipment Servicer <br />545 Equipment Mechanic Equipment Mechanic <br />442 Equipment Servicer Lead Hostler <br />545 + 4% Equipment Mechanic Mechanic Leader <br />485 Material Handler Material Handler <br />588 Materiat Handler Leader Material Handler Leader <br />188 Community Circulator Operator Community Circulator Operator <br />531 Supervisor of Bus Operations Dispatcher/Driver <br />The above comparison with NOMBL and GCRTA employees is for the purpose of establishing <br />pay rates, only. Job descriptions and responsibilities are different between the two operations. <br />See attached ( SAMPLE) Exhibits A-1 to A-5, which sets forth the wage schedules. <br />Section 34.01 a A new Pay Rate Classification will be established to operate Community and/or <br />Neighborhood based services. These services will be initially operated in a fixed route/fixed schedule <br />mode, however the service may eventually provide routings that are more responsive to its patrons <br />travel patterns. These services will be operated as Community Circulator service and a11 hours <br />worked by an operator on these services whether it be for a full day or a partial day; will be paid at a <br />percentage of the top Bus Operator rate; as specified for Greater Cteveland RTA, Community <br />Circulator Operators. The Employer shall minimize the daily number of different operators <br />scheduled to work Community Circulator routes, wherever this is practicable and provides for <br />efficient operator scheduling. Hours worked by an operator on non-Community Circulator routes <br />shall be paid based upon the schedule for a Regular Operator. The Community Circulator Operator <br />Hourly Rates are listed in the schedules. The Employer shall pay an operator scheduled to work a <br />Community Circulator Service rates for Vacation, Holiday, Personal and Sick time as follows: <br />a. Vacation, 3 Floating and Anniversary and Birthday Holidays - Time off will be paid at <br />regular bus wages. <br />2s <br />
