S., Civil Engineering, 1988 <br />EXPERIENCE: <br />Dr. Khedekar has worked on various roadway and civil site improvement projects. His <br />? responsibilities include the design of alignmerns, development of profiles and typical sections, design <br />of retaining structures, drainage design, quantity calculations, cost estimates and coordination of <br />? support staff. Dr. Khedekar also has excellent working knowledge of AutoCad Relea.se 14, Softdesk <br />Highway Design software, spreadsheet applications and word processing programs. <br />'u <br />His project experience inctudes: <br />? STA-687-1.946, Widening and Reconstruction of 1.4 mile section of Fulton Road (State <br />Route 687) in Stark County for the Ohio Department of Transportation. The existing two <br />and three lane road was widened to five lanes from Brunnerdale Avenue to Everhard Road, <br />affecting over 85 property owners. A new profile was designed to meet current design <br />criteria, and one section of pavement was designated for full depth replacemern. The original <br />road had an open drainage system except at intersections, so a new storm sewer system was <br />designed for the full project length. In addition to Typical Sections, Plan, Profile, Cross <br />Sections and Sewer Profiles, the construction documents included maintenance of traffic <br />plans, driveway profiles and details, storm water pollution prevention plans, traffic control <br />plans, traffic signal plans, right-of-way plans and retaining wall details. His responsibilities <br />included pavement design, typical sections, cross sections and quantity calculations. The <br />design work was performed with the support of Softdesk software. <br />• MED-252-Var, Roadway Improvements for the replacemerrt of four (4) bridge structures on <br />State Route 252 (Columbia Road) in Medina County, for the Ohio Department of <br />Transportation. Responsibilities included the prepazation of typical sections, plan, profile, <br />cross sections, drainage design and quantity estimates. All plans were prepared using <br />AutoCAD R14 in metric format. <br />• Rehabilitation of Noble Road from Ma.yfield Road to Euclid Avenue in the Cities of Cleveland <br />Heights and East Cleveland; Rehabilitation of Green Road from Chagrin Boulevard to <br />Fairmount Boulevard in the Cities of Beachwood and Shaker Heights: Responsibilities <br />included alignment, profile design, typical sections and cross sections. <br />. Improvements to Euclid Creek Reservation for Cleveland Metroparks: Work includes the <br />design of roadway, trail and parking improvements at three (3) major picnic areas. His <br />responsibilities included alignment and profile design, pavement design, design of drainage <br />improvements and coordination of electrical work. <br />• Cleveland Hopkins International Airport, Cleveland, Ohio. Designed the realignment of the <br />entrance to the Long Term/Short Term Parking Garage. The design involved widening the <br />existing surface to accommodate the reloca.tion of the existing island and gates to their new <br />? <br />? <br />
