Ordinance No. 2000-107 <br />Page 2 <br />WHEREAS, the City of North Olmsted will select the projects which are declared eligible based <br />upon their score on the Cuyahoga County C.D.B.G. Competitive Grant Scoring Sheet criteria; <br />and <br />WHEREAS, if multiple projects are declared eligible the City will select the projects which are <br />jointly agreed upon with Cuyahoga County; and <br />WHEREAS, the City of North Olmsted will provide all other funding a <br />for the projects that are selected with the following maximum estimates <br />Funding From <br />City <br />Sidewalk Curb Cuts For Disabled And Older Persons $526,000 <br />A.D.A. Improvements At The N.O.R.C. $ 30,000 <br />Water Line Improvements $420,000 <br />nd leverage requirements <br />Leverage % <br />City C.D.B.G. <br />81 19 <br />50 50 <br />80 20 <br />WHEREAS, the purposes of these projects are to provide Americans With Disabilities Act <br />(A.D.A.) compliance and accessibility and to eliminate a health and safety need in a Low and <br />Moderate Income Area and an Improvement Target Area; and <br />WHEREAS, these projects will provide a benefit to older persons and persons with disabilities <br />and provide a benefit to low and moderate income persons living in a Low and Moderate Income <br />Area and an Improvement Target Area. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCII. OF THE CITY OF <br />NORTH OLMSTED, COUNTY OF CUYAHOGA, AND STATE OF OHIO: <br />SECTION 1: That this Council does hereby authorize and direct Don Copeland, <br />Director of the Department of Human Resources, to apply for <br />Community Development Block Grant funds for Fiscal Year 2001, <br />on behalf of the City of North Olmsted. Included in the application <br />shall be the aforesaid projects. ------------- <br />
