fol3.?-?,?.?? , <br />? <br />5ECTION 4: That, in the event said sidewalks abutting upon the above-referenced residential <br />properties are not repaired by the owners in accordance with the plans and specifications on file with the <br />Clerk of Council and within the time prescribed in this Resoludon, the City will repair the sidewalks and <br />assess the cost thereof against the lots and lands abutting thereon. <br />SECTION 5: That the Clerk of Council be and is hereby directed to immediately serve nodce of <br />the passage of this resolution upon the owners of the properties located at: Charles Road (Nos. 6507, 6523, <br />6603, 6635, 6652, 6684, 6700, 6715, 6747) and Georgette Avenue (Nos. 4404, 4626), by certified mail <br />addressed to such owners at their last known addresses or to the addresses to which tax bills are sent. Such <br />notice sent by the Clerk shall also set forth the place where the specifications, governing the repair of such <br />sidewalk are on file, the time within which the owner of such lot or pazcel may repair such sidewalk in <br />accordance with such specifications, and that, in the event such owner does not repair such sidewalks in <br />accordance with such specifications and within such time, the City will repair the sidewalks, and assess the <br />costs thereof against the lot or land of such owner. <br />SECTION 6: That this Resolution be and is hereby declared to be an emergency measure <br />immediately necessary for the preservation of the public health, safety and welfare, and for the further <br />reason that it is immediately necessary to effect repairs to the sidewaiks located at: Charles Road (Nos. <br />6507, 6523, 6603, 6635, 6652, 6684, 6700, 6715, 6747) and Georgette Avenue (Nos. 4404, 4626),because <br />each presents a safety hazard to pedestrians; and further provided it receives the affirmative vote of two- <br />thirds of all members of Council, it shall take effect and be in force immediately upon its passage and <br />approval by the Mayor. <br />-r- <br />PASSED: <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br /> <br />BARBARA L.
