Ralph Bohlmann
July 10, 2000
Page 6
This quarterly cost totals a yearly amount close to $300,000. Using the 2000
Budget Authorization line item totals for operating and maintenance cost components, a
$300,000 cost reduction would represent an annual reduction of approximately 6.5% due
solely to the abandonment of the thermal conditioning/vacuum filtration dewatering unit
processes. When combined with the other annual operating cost reductions in the
Utilities line item made in 2000 and projected for 2001, it is not unreasonable for the
operating and maintenance cost components beyond mid-2001 to be 10% lower than the
2000 Budget Authorization line item totals. If you have any questions regarding this memo, its discussions or its
recommendations, please contact me.
Attachrnent
1. July 6, 2000 P&H Senesac Inc.
